The Intern Life - Day 1
I got the internship! Our first meeting on Wednesday was enjoyable; I met with the other interns, some of whom were in my classes and some that had just started at VCAD in their first and second semesters. Also present at the meeting was Vancouver Fashion Showcase founder Florence, her assistant Charmaine, and her existing intern Jenica. Florence had a finalized list of roles and positions that we were assigned to. Two other girls, Amy and Stephanie, and myself were assigned to help with event planning, working with the retailers to plan their in-store events as well as reach out to the restaurants that signed up for FNO to create a fashion inspired menu for the main event on September 6th.
